Job Description
Web developers design and build websites. They are typically responsible for the appearance, of the site and technical aspects, such as site speed and how much traffic the site can handle. Web developers may also create site content that requires technical features. Plus, who can specialize in optimizing search engine discovery and rankings. They are involved in the technical aspects of the creation, maintenance, and deployment of SEO for websites. They also help troubleshoot SEO issues, assist with a content strategy, and perform preventative maintenance web pages.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that website design, layout, and coding is optimized for search.
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.
• Directing or performing Website updates.
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices.
• Researching the latest SEO guidelines and implementing them.
• Assisting with integration’s to enhance or maintain SEO competitiveness.
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or web development.
• A minimum of 1 year back-end development and web design experience.
• Experience with back-end programming languages.
• Knowledge of CMS software (WordPress, Prestashop, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused.
• Thorough knowledge of search or web analytics tools including such as Brightedge, Google Search Console or Adobe Analytics.
