Job Description and Responsibilities:

Improve in-house tools and portals by writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality.
Design and develop backend solutions using Node, TypeScript, and Express
Develop and maintain MySQL databases
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend functionality with frontend design
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide solutions
Work closely with other teams to ensure the product meets our high standards of quality and functionality

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience
Strong understanding of backend development using Node and Express
Experience with MySQL databases and SQL queries
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
Understanding of software development best practices, including code quality and version control
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Amenable to working on Night Shift (10 pm – 7 am)
